The price of Bitcoin surged above its $102,000 price tag for the first time this year as MicroStrategy increased its BTC ($102,365.37) holdings for the ninth consecutive week. The software intelligence firm announced the purchase on Jan. 6, stating that it spent about $101 million in cash to acquire an additional 1,070 BTC.
